ANNIE SIMS MAKES NEW FRIENDS AT RADIO

ASPIRION RECORDING ARTIST IS ON THE ROAD PROMOTING “EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LEAVIN’”
(NASHVILLE, TN.) August 10, 2007 – Aspirion recording artist, Annie Sims, has been busy traveling on the road promoting her latest single, “Everything I Know About Leavin’.” So far, Sims has visited radio stations across 10 states; Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia, Alabama, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
Excited about the tour and the response that she has received, Sims says, “It’s been wonderful meeting so many warm and friendly people at country radio who genuinely care about the music. Many Program Directors I’ve talked with have stated how proud they are of the fact that they get to choose the music they play. They take that responsibility very seriously and they work hard to help new artists get started.”
“Everything I Know About Leavin’” is the lead single from Sims’ forthcoming CD release, entitled Annie. Inspired by the experience, Sims adds, “Several of the women Program Directors I’ve met have expressed their feeling that we need more female artists in the format. I’ve noticed that the ratio of men to women on the radio is quite lopsided, so I sure hope I can help balance it out!”
