ANNIE SIMS – LONG BIO

In 2008 Annie was guided to pursue a career path in the burgeoning Positive Music genre. After earning her living as a solo pianist and vocalist for years, performing in venues from Walt Disney World to cruise ships to European piano bars, then touring as a Country music recording artist, doing concerts with her band in such hallowed venues as Dublin's National Concert Hall and the London Palladium, Annie found that she wanted to move fully into writing, recording and singing music with a message. The inspiration she received and the amazing events that followed, which pulled her completely into Positive Music, proved that she was on purpose with her life!

Within a matter of months Annie founded the first city chapter of the Positive Music Association in Nashville, and became its president. She was asked to write and record several songs for a New Thought hymnal project, and after performing them at the Music City Center for Spiritual Living in June 2009, Revs. Dyann and Michael Woody created a Music Director position for Annie. As part of her duties, she leads the congregation in singing her own songs as a regular part of the weekly services.

Meanwhile, Annie's working relationship with world-famous author, inspirational speaker and workshop facilitator Neale Donald Walsch, was continuing to develop. After hearing Annie's and her composer husband Greg Sims' song entitled "Go Within", based on his best-selling book Conversations With God, Walsch asked Annie to begin appearing with him as his musical guest. She and Greg traveled with him to eight countries in Europe on a five week tour. Afterwards, he recommended Annie's music in his book, Home With God, and featured her on his website on his Friends page. In early 2009 Walsch asked Annie and Greg to write a song based on his upcoming book When Everything Changes Change Everything and the recording is included in a special edition signed and numbered series of the book. Annie and Greg teach Conversations With God classes in Nashville and Annie is the Global Director of the new Conversations With God School, offering biweekly lessons in its Online Messenger's School.

Annie is a CwG Life Coach in Walsch's Spiritual Mentoring Program and is available for one-on-one coaching sessions. She also offers Music & Message and CwG workshops at New Thought venues worldwide.
